Meet Dr. Chapman
Dr. Katie Chapman grew up in Madison (go Tigers!) and feels lucky to be working in her hometown.
Education and Experience
Dr. Chapman attended Colgate University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Biology and was inducted into the Tri Beta National Biological Honor Society. After graduating, she spent several years working in neuroscience research and pharmaceutical development, studying brain injuries and new cancer therapeutics.
Her interest in helping patients led her to attend dental school at Western University, where she was a valedictorian and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She then completed her specialty training at the University of Connecticut where she received her Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters in Dental Science, and feels lucky to continue to maintain a close relationship with the program to this day. This allows her to stay up-to-date on orthodontic research and all advancements in the field so she can provide the highest level of care. She has also been awarded the prestigious Thomas M. Graber Award of Special Merit by the American Association of Orthodontics for her outstanding research in the field.

Outside the Office
When Dr. Chapman isn’t in the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the state with her four-legged best friend Jackson and husband Andrew, and learning to play golf. On weekends you are most likely to find her at Cohen’s Bagels.
